Speaking of Maria’s appointment, Richard Carter said: “Our business in Hong Kong had a fantastic 2018, with significant year-on-year profit growth and impressive client satisfaction ratings. I’m delighted to welcome Maria to BFS to lead the next stage of our growth strategy.”
Maria commented: “I’m pleased to join BFS at a time of growth, and during a time where small and medium size businesses are searching ways to fund growth. We have a fantastic client-base, a great team and strong partnerships throughout the commercial factoring, trade finance and supply chain finance sectors, so we are well poised for future growth.”

Richard added: “Our businesses in Asia are strategically important to our global vision. With Maria’s experience and under her guidance, I’m confident we can continue to grow our support for SMEs in Hong Kong over the months and years ahead.”
